About Me
Hello my name is Calida Dowd. I am a certified and registered remedial massage therapist and founder of Gippsland Remedial Massage. I completed my Certificate IV in Massage and Diploma in Remedial Massage with Melbourne Institute of Massage.
Since commencing my studies in 2019, I have been fortunate enough to have worked with elite athletes from the NRL, Rugby Union, Olympians and the Suncorp Super Netball League.
I specialise in treating various conditions in the body such as; sports injuries, headaches, neck, upper back, shoulder and arm pain, tendonitis, lower back, hip and leg pain. Using a variety of treatment methods such as: cupping, myofascial release, transverse frictions and trigger point therapy. Treating a vast range of clients such as; elite athletes, children to teenagers to the elderly.
I am happily married, sharing 4 beautiful children with my husband and reside in Drouin.
Having a genuine passion for health and fitness, I take a holistic approach. I am currently completing my Certificate IV in Fitness to become a Personal Trainer. This is to expand my knowledge and skills to pass onto my clients and assist them further on their journey to health and longevity.

Client Health History
Let our team take the time to understand your health history. By taking your health history enables us to be gain a better understanding of your symptoms and any other possible factors that may be contributing to your issue.
We will discuss what your overall goal for the treatment is and if you have any other concerns or questions.
Physical Assessment
We will perform a physical assessment on your body to explore your range of movement. This is where we will get you to perform a series of movements with your body either in a standing position, lying or seated on the massage table.
Tailored Treatment Plan
After gathering your health history, completing the physical assessment and taking into consideration your goals, together, we will develop a treatment plan that is tailored specially for you. Treatments run for 1 hour. Private health rebates available.
